The Keys to YES Success!
The Year End Show is upon us and what better time than now to talk about making your YES experience a success! The Year-End Show is an annual staple of the Dance Community experience. It’s a rite of passage for thousands of YPAC-ers and offers our students a chance to shine in front of family and friends, showing off a year’s worth of hard work and dedication, something that is essential in a child’s development. A large part of dance training is learning through performance. Although performance opportunities can help prepare some students for a possible career in dance, most importantly they prepare them for the world outside of dance. The performing experience helps build self-esteem, improves in-school presentations, social skills, and strengthens interview skills for future college and job opportunities.
We are so excited for the Year End Show, and we know that your students are too! The keys to a successful YES are simple and really, they mirror the life lessons that we are teaching at the center week after week. We hope that you have a great Year End Show experience and that you find that everything we are teaching in classes, at the center, and at the heart of our productions is meaningful and in line with the lessons you are teaching at home!
