Lars Ebsworth

Lars Ebsworth

Piano / Voice / Theater Instructor

Lars has been teaching since 2016, where they taught voice as part of their senior capstone under the direction of Jermaine Hill. Since then, Lars has held a small voice studio of their own, and began teaching voice and piano at ACM School of Music in 2019. As a voice teacher, Lars relies heavily on the correct production of breathing, speech, and sound. Lars believes in injury-prevention work in order to provide a long-lasting career in the arts. As a piano teacher, they strive to create rhythm-conscious muscle memory in the most fun way possible. Lars works on creating musicians, not singers, so expect to learn how to take your craft to the next level of artistry. Lars has recently come back to the suburbs to pursue a MA in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University, and is thrilled to be doing so while teaching at YPAC. In their spare time, Lars enjoys spending time with their rescue lhasa apso-mix, Sir Aaron Carter.
