Music Community


Q: How much is tuition?

A: Private Music Lesson tuition is $117.50 per month. Private Lesson tuition includes a YPAC Custom Practice Log Book with incentives, a t-shirt and a recording of your child’s lesson is sent home once every 6 weeks via email. Group Music Lessons vary depending on the type and length of class but range between $50-$75 a month.

Q: Are there any other fees?

A: Private Music students MIGHT have a $30 materials fee to cover books and sheet music.

Q: Is performance mandatory?

A: While we strongly encourage all students to perform, it is not mandatory. YPAC instructors lead and guide the students and often accompany them in the performance to make it a positive and memorable experience for all!





Dance Community


Q: How much is tuition?

A: Group Dance Lessons vary depending on the type and length of class but range between $42-$80 a month.  Private Dance Lessons range from $112 per month. Private lesson tuition includes a progress report sent home every 12 weeks.

Q: Are there any other fees?

A: All classes that perform in the Year End Show will have a Costume Fee. Costumes are $65 for ages 2.5-7 and $75 for ages 8 and up. This fee will be taken out of family accounts on November 15.

Q: Is performance mandatory?

A: While we strongly encourage all students to perform, it is not mandatory. The Dance Community puts on a Year End Show that not only displays incredible dancing, it also gives all those involved a powerful and inspiring experience. Parents and students look forward to this event all year!

Theatre Community


Q: How much is tuition?

A: Group acting lessons vary depending on the type and length of class but range between $42-$80 a month. Private Acting Lessons are $117.50 per month. Private lesson tuition includes a progress report sent home every 12 weeks. Theatre Production Fees range between $150-$250 depending on the show chosen. The production fee includes all auditions, rehearsals, costumes,  and dress rehearsal at the theatre.

Q: Is performance mandatory?

A: While we strongly encourage all students to get involved with a performance at YPAC, it is not mandatory. The Theatre Community puts on family friendly productions that display incredible talent! Parents and students look forward to these events each year.







Q: Can we try a private lesson/class before we decide to register?

A: Yes! We offer a FREE 20-minute trial lesson for any student interested in registering for private lessons and a free class for any student interested in registering for group lessons. These are scheduled through the front desk.

Q: How does billing work?

A:  All dance and music lessons are billed monthly. Dance and theatre classes are based on a 36 week calendar schedule. Music Lessons are based on a 47 week calendar schedule. All families are REQUIRED to be on our secure auto-pay system by debit/credit card or withdrawal from checking account. Families who opt to pay in full will receive a 5% discount.

Q: Is there a registration fee/membership fee?

A: Yes. Registration is an annual fee of $30.00 per student/$50 per family. It is designed to confirm a placement for each student in his/her class of choice. Registration fees also provide your family with the opportunity to take advantage of discounts at area business. Click here to view our Preferred Vendors and discounts offered to YPAC families.
YPAC reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. Registration fees are non-refundable with the exception of preschool students who are determined to be unready for dance and may receive a credit for the following season. Enroll early: Classes fill up fast, and class size is limited.

Q: Are there any performances?

A:  Yes! YPAC produces 8 shows a year. Fall/Winter Musical, “My Favorite Things” holiday dance performance, Holiday Music Show, Spring Musical, Dance Community Year End Show, Music Community Year End Show, The Brave Project, and the Annual Spring Ballet Production.

Q: What type of lessons do you offer?

A: We are a full performing arts center and offer lessons in Music, Dance and Theatre. Our classes are available for children, adults and families. From newborn to adult classes, YPAC can provide your family with a comprehensive arts education experience.

Music classes include piano, guitar, voice, violin, percussion, ukulele, and bass guitar. Our Dance Community offers lessons in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, tumbling, and acro/ flex. Our Dance Community also includes the YPAC performance groups: PEER Ensemble and I.D. Company. YPAC offers both group and private theater classes as well as two theater productions each year.

Q: How long is a session? 

A:  The Dance and Theatre Communities are 10 month seasons and The Music Community runs year-round.

Q: What happens if I need to withdraw from lessons?

A: YPAC has a 30-Day Notice Policy. We need a signed and completed YPAC Withdrawal Form 30 days prior to the next charge date. There is a two-month/session minimum for all lessons and classes.

Q: Do classes run year round?

A: Music Community classes run year round. Dance and Theatre classes run September to June. Students enrolled in the Dance and Theatre Communities also have the opportunity to participate in our Summer Sessions. Summer classes for Dance and Theatre run June to August.
